Lost key
My son lost original key went and bought a new set
of keys and lock cylinder. What do I have to do to
program the new keys to start my vehicle?
Hopefully you purchased a set of cylinders and keys which function via a chip. Installation is easy enough, but the new key must be programmed by a locksmith or person with the needed programmer which plugs into the OBD system under the dash. If you have at least one key which works, a new chip key could be purchased and programmed to operate the vehicle.
