All power windows run on the same fuse. But I will bring that up
The high-current fuses are coded as follows: Fuse/Relay Location Fuse Amp Rating Power Distribution Box Description 4 30A** Power Windows, Power Moon Roof, Power Seat

That leaves switch, motor or regulator possible culprits. I could not find anything Explorer specific but F150. All the Explorer ones say 2002 and on. http://www.justanswer.com/ford/37yhr-96-ford-explorer-having-problem-driver-s-side.html#

Best to check and make sure but think it's the window motor because if it was a fuse would not work once in awhile.
I have 4 explorers covering a like model you have. I have replaced the motor in all but one on the drivers door. It's always been the motor. It usually starts as you describe; works fine, occasionally doesn't work, begins to go up or down slowly, then finally doesn't work at all. Checking power to the switch and to the motor is easy. It is there it's the motor.

Thank you! It was the motor. Rock Auto had it cheapest. Sometimes their parts are delivered with slight damage is the only problem.
I have a 2017 Ford Explorer, the front windows don't go down.Could it be the fuses. And if they are, what are the fuse number.
What number is the power window is
