Oh no, the notorious Hyundai event! Your in limp mode! first check the reverse lights see if working. you could check other fuses also the reverse circuit powers up the relay to feed the trans brain box. you also have a engine control box next to it right above the drivers brake peddle .the signal flashers are soldered in this one for future fun problems. great car but known weakness ,of trans. frustrates me.check fluid level, use required type to preserve the trans. This could get ugly something in circuit is failing and telling the" brain" things are off measurement! in turn it reverts to a limp mode to get you slowly to a repair shop .A well briefed Hyundai technician will save you $ .

Thanks a million. A buddy has a 2000 Tiburon and it would not come out of park until you push the override button and then it would only go into reverse and 1 forward gear. We checked the reverse lights and there would not work. We checked fuse. It was blown. We replaced it. Now car will shift out of park(without override) and goes into all forward gears. Awesome. Saved him some serious $$.
What fuse did you end up changing blackchevy??
