my car cranks and idles in park but, when you put into drive or reverse it sound slike its no fuel getting there and it spits back air and cuts off

clean your throttle body. and air flow sensor. may be your throttle position sensor too but avoid messing with it if you can.

a cleaning can always do no harm,this to me sounds like a high voltage crossfire problem,ck. coil, or wires and or plugs
