Have a Ford Focus 2000 hatchback turn a
quick write it stalled it wouldn't start again
it's trying to start but it won't start it's getting
gas up there the fuel pump turning on but I
don't know if it's getting enough gas but you
can smell gas it's getting spark I check the
the switch on the inside panel on the drivers
the passenger side that's not been trip I
checked the fuses I'm wondering if there's a
way it could be the fuel pump and it's just
not getting enough gas up there cuz it tries
to start it wants to turn over but it won't it's
over a hundred sixty five thousand miles on

If you got gas and spark, the switches/sensors are good. Try with some starting fluid, if it starts and shuts down, it's the fuel pump. Quick write = quick right? Did you jump on the brakes? When you turn the key, does the engine sound funny (different from before), does the exhaust smoke (well..not smoke but you understand) smell like a lean/strange smell??
