Auto stop/start does not always work.

2016 grand cherokee.  The auto stop/start does not always work.  had both batteries just changed.  what could be the problem?

It works only if the temperature in the car has reached what it is set too. This is if your climate control is on auto. If you take it off auto, it should work every time to hit the brakes.
