My hyundai sonata is making a dragging noise?

I have purchased my sonata last yr, I moved upstate where they spread salt for snow, I have been noticing lately, that when I put my foot on the brakes, My car is making this noise like something is dragging under the car, How do I get a preauthorization for this to be repaired?

Sound's like it's making the same noise my wifes car was making .(06 Sonata). I changed rotors and brake pads and no more noise. If it only happens when you step on the brakes then it sound's like you need a brake job a very easy fix. Good Luck

Brakes are considered a wear and tear item and probably are not covered under warranty. If it less than 12 months/12,000 miles you might be able to "convince" the service rep to replace them claiming they should not have worn so fast.
