The 3.6 V6 is not a northstar engine. The Northstars were mostly V8s produced from late 1980s to 2010. They appeared on the SRX from 2004 - 2009. They did make a few Northstar V6s, code named LX5, which was used in Oldsmobiles, but not Cadillacs.
