only elantra recall is on mine, 2004 for a gas tank failure and explosion in a rear end accident.

No recalls on it. It's been a huge problem with the Elantra (I've had three break). Dealers act like they've never heard of this issue. You can actually replace them yourself. I did it and I'm not a handy person at all. Some guy has videos on youtube showing you how to replace them, which inspired me to do my own. The part is only about $75.
