Large opening under engine

Asked by Tjhamilton Sep 10, 2019 at 02:35 PM about the 2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

There's an opening when I started to remove my
subframe. I removed the exhaust first then noticed
this hole. Why is it just open like that?

Thars not a problem.its where all the bolts locate for when you going separate the engine from the transmission, there is a little rubber cap for it but if not,it not a problem
