Why do you say Coil is burning of .. No start >>??/ Flashing check engine light >? Whats the gap of the plugs What is the resistance of the wires. IS the negative feed to the coil pack getting grounded with out coumputer control doing it ... Lots of questions with no real help from you. Sorry 4
get bosch platinum plugs that might help with ur problem thats wat i run in my focus and it runs as smooth as a babys bottom
Check the wiring coming out of the coil pack going into the harness, there might be a fray or a spot grounding out. wrong spark plugs are NOT going to cause this problem. I don't know if this pertains to you, but most of us tuners in the focus world just use the motorcraft plugs. Unless you are going to boost your car for track driving, or drag strips, there is no reason to get iridium plugs or anything along those lines.
In 90% of the cases I have seen on the ford focus with burning coils is shorted wires on the harness by the EGR tube under the coil itself.
2013 ford focus cylinder 3 coil failed replaced it a week later cylinder 1 coil failed replaced that one drove 20 miles same cylinder pack failed with the brand new pack. Checked the harness no wear marks or grounds. I'm lost I read that the spark plugs could cause this any thoughts if this is true.
What is this wire clip with rubber boot that goes next to my four coil packs on my 2.0 ford focus
