car will jump start, but won't start with the key. battery is up, new alt, etc. any ideas

car was starting and running nicely. went to start it, nothing. battery is up and the car will start by pushing it. any ideas

Probably a problem with the ignition coils or the ignition module. Probably something a mechanic will have to take a look at.

how about checking the key switch or ignition coils or checking that all wires are pluged also check your starter. most of the time the solenoid dies on them and ppl think the stater is still good but thats a typical problem
