Buick allure cruise control kicks off. Why?

Hello all. I have a 2008 buick allure / lacrosse.
When driving with cruise control, all the dash lights
turn on briefly and the radio cuts out also briefly.
Which kicks me out and also prevents me from
using cruise control until i use the brake. Also
noticed that whenever I use the windshield washer,
the cruise control will kick out. Are both issues
related?

it could be the same issues but it sounds like you have a lose wire some where that shuts down your dash
