I was driving on the highway the temp was
going up and down but not overheating then
it started rattling really bad and died while in
motion. Now when I try to start its making a
noise kinda like a loud humming but not
turning over like it wants to start.

The thermostat or temperature sensor could be going out and the car will not start until the car senses the temperature is in safe operating range. The humming sound could be the fuel pump operating but the car isn’t allowing the ignition to start the car.
