2002 Infiniti Q45 suddenly stopped accelerating. It started without trouble the next morning. the check engine light is on, everything else seems normal. I'm afraid to drive it may stop again without warning.

Driving home within 15 miles. Parked for half hour, while shopping. Car had trouble cranking, another shopper gave me a jump. Drove less than 2 miles, car shut off, no acceleration, power steering, drifted to a complete stop. All lights, radio dash on. Wound not start with jump. left it in a strip mall over night, the next day cranked right up, check engine light stayed on. drove it home. Afraid to drive it, it may cut off on the highway.
