Rear Light Assembly - gaskets

1984 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. Water leaks into trunk through light assemblies
both sides. Is there a gasket that goes behind the lights or can a replacement
gasket be made?

Yes there is a seal. It one of those butyl rubber seals that has probably decomposed. You can get a whole roll of the newer sticky stuff and put it in place of the old seals. I recommend you use in fairly cool temps as it can get really tacky when it warms up and that makes it harder to work with.
