Land Rover LR2 immobiliser fault

Asked by Danishiqubal Aug 05, 2020 at 11:35 AM about the 2014 Land Rover LR2 SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have 2014 model Land Rover LR2. It was running normal.
Last it so happened that I unlocked my car through key fob,
then unlocked the rear door from inside manually. And
when I tried to start it gave a fault "immobiliser fault
contact dealer". And just not starting. When I went to dealer
to ask for EKA codes they told me to bring the car and that
EKA codes were applicable only for older cars not for 2014
model. My car is with a reputed mechanic now since a
week but seems he is unable to figure out the problem.
What should I do?
