If you have spark and fuel but it still won't run it's time to do a compression test. If all cylinders test very low or zero it's jumped timing. Hope that helps! Jim

2002 Mazda Tribute ES V6 3.0L 99kmi - crank but no start condition; - checked fuse - checked relay first - also no audible fuel pump sound when turning key, so assumed it was the fuel pump. I initially changed Idle Air Control Valve (Duralast TV281 inlet valve, and Coolant Temperature Sensor (Duralast SU2301) first as some contributors pointed to them being possible causes and they were inexpensive part quick fixes, but still no start. Installed new fuel pump and my vehicle started right up afterwards. I also recently changed the crankshaft and camshaft sensors as the vehicle felt like it was missing, rough idled / intermittently felt like it was going to die (as it was not the coils). Finally running smooth again..
