Show me a picture of the secondary air pump and is it located under the battery at the inside fender well?
The secondary air injection pump is under the front fender, passenger side, in front of the wheel. Take off the wheel, remove the well insert (large black plastic piece), the pump will be to your right mounted on a bracket with 3 bolts from the top.
Okay i have a Question for ya???? It is considered as the Smog Pump due to "State of California SMOG CHECK Laws".... Is THERE ANY WAY Possible that i can Remove that PERMANENTLY, and Re-Route the Connector Wire/Plug with OUT having Codes Popping Up ANYMORE???? I have a 2000 Ford Mustang w the 3.8ltr. Motor and its throwing a Code for "P0411" which is the " Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected"!!!!
