How many miles on this Mustang?
The rest of your car is 17 years old so of course things will wear out and need repair.
200000 miles but also that belt that controls the power steering broke and it got really hot but I drove it about 8 miles to get home will that affect anything like the water pump or other parts as you can tell I don't know about cars and I have no man in my life right now . I just bought this car 2 months ago and I don't know if I should try to fix it or consider it a loss and take the money I would use to get it running again 2000.00 just for engine or look for another car can somebody please help me
200,000 miles? I would chalk it up to experience and move on. If you had not driven it while hot it would not be needing an engine most likely. If you could find a reasonably priced used engine and had the experience to install it yourself it would maybe a different story.
Thank you very much I will take your advise one more thing. Do you think I could sell it and for how much or is it just a scrapper?
