Transmission range sensor

Does anyone happen to know where i can locate
my transmission range sensor (neutrul saftey lock)
i have looked everywhere and im unable to locate
it! Anything would help !

on 2009 mazda 6, its on the transmission right where the shift cable attaches. Underneath the air filter compartment
