Computer ????

Question type: General

So I’m having and issue with my 04 Mazda 6 it
runs great everything works low mileage but .... my
check engine light comes on and when someone
tries to plug in the code reader it says it can’t be
read.... then someone hooked up a computer type
thing to get the answers and it read U1900 code
which a trouble shoot to the communicator .... now
remind you I don’t know what I’m talking about.
..... by any chance can someone help me better
understand what’s going on .... how can I fix it ....
please help

Yes .... i know this but can any mechanic do this ... I wasn’t sure if it mattered because it’s a computer problem
