Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, am using a 2008 Mazda3, my car doesn't really go into 4th gear, it gets to gear 3 and sticks there, i can hit 100Km/h and and its still stuck on 3. Changing from gear 1 all the way to 3 is perfect. Today the AT indicator came on, the check engine indicator has been on. What might be the problem coz i changed the ATF just a week ago.

I had the same thing happen on my 08 Hatch. The check engine and AT lights would come on, if I shut the car off and turned it back on it would clear but would do it again at random times down the road. I ran the code for the check engine light and it was something to do with Shift Solenoid A. After a lot of research I replace the TCM (Transmission Control Module) and it was fixed, hasn't done it since.
