Car engine upgrade

MOAR POWA, hmm- assuming you have a 5.7L V8... tuning from diablo sport/ sct those range from 399-499 (that should net you in the area of 15-25hp). You can slap on a set of headers (those should give you a 30-40hp increase). Changing the intake doesn't make as much power as advertised as these motors have torque management ECUs and they HATE extra intake air flow. Also, you can't forget the exhaust (DO NOT GO CATLESS, THESE MOTORS ARE NOXIOUS), ditch some of the bends, add a H-pipe, and increase the diameter of the pipes post-cat to 2.75" and you should be all good.
I think those horsepower numbers are somewhat exaggerated. Get an SRT-8 if you think you need more power.
Hey Bob-- how many Hemis have you modified?? Just finished 3 and the average increase was 29%-- do the math those motors make 385hp at the crank. 30% increase with tunes, headers and exhaust easily yeild those number... thanks for playing
In the mean time you can look anywhere online-- my numbers are certainly not exaggerated.
I also would like to see dyno numbers. Long tube headers usually yield 20 HP, 91 octane tunes maybe 20 HP plus you really need a dyno tune. Sorry, but we will have to agree to disagree.

Yet 3 years later I see that Bob never did tell us how many Hemi's he modified....lol I just purchased a 2015 Citadel with the 5.7, also looking for bolt on power increase mods.
