Heat from windshield

We bought a new Dodge Durango 2016
R/T that was use for 2400 miles by the
GM. The heat seems excessive radiating in
from the windshield ? I know I live in Vegas
but my other cars don't have this problem.

Consider having some very light tint installed. Make sure it is legal in your area to have the windshield tinted. A very light tint will cut down on the heat radiated to the inside of the vehicle.
