Question type: Car Customization
Hello to all, I am customizing a 1979 Firebird T-Top
by adding a new 350 engine and I would like to put
a TA shaker hood on it. Would it be ok? The hood
of course will be cutted. Thanks to all!

It's your car, whatever floats your boat. I'd try and find an original shaker hood, cost wise you might find it cheaper than buying the repro shaker scoop and then customizing the old hood. Theres' a 77 to 81 shaker hood for firebird or T/A listed on Ebay for 174.99. Why cut up a good hood when you can keep it as a spare and buy an original shaker that cheap? I'll post a link below but it won't show up right away due to the spam filter.

Thanks a lot both for the link and the advise, I'll make my mind up. Have a nice day!
Cutting the hood will not come out well unless you have a pro do the work and the cost would be many times the cost of a used hood.
Actually a pro paint shop will be doing it. I will post pictures once finished
