Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1979 Trans Am.  301 engine. 4 BBL.
Eliminating catalytic converter.  Your experience will TA be too loud?

1 Answer

I doubt the noise will be too loud but you may have engine running issues. Not sure how much feed back the primitive smog system has on fuel/air ratios in such an old car. You may need to install a non smog carb and distributor.
