Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

So if I found the car of my dreams at a dealer in Chicago, can I buy it just thru Car Gurus?  Or does the dealer get the commission?  I have a 2017 paid for Chevy Impala Premier E with 28k for miles on it and it eats 93 gas all of the time.  I would prefer to have a Chevy Volt I found on line and trade basically even up for my car to that car.  How does Car Gurus Work?  Can I eliminate the dealer commission?  Yes or No?

Go to the dealers website. Sometimes the link is in the ad. They may or may not have a chat feature but most new car dealers do.
