2017 Q7 Prestige high mileage purchase

Thinking about buying a 2017 Q7 Prestige with 140k miles for $20k. It's been very well kept
and have records of all of the maintenance  from the Audi dealership. Besides the obviously
high mileage, what types of problems might come up with it only being 5 years old? The
Prestige package on it is pretty sick as well. Would this be a bad investment? My logic is
140k on this car would be comparable to 80k miles on a lower grade of car (wear n tear and
mechanical efficiency). $20k is alot to just  too. Help me make this make sense!

Well I wouldn't buy it! High end cars come with high end repair bills! Judging by your post you're more concerned about how you'll look in the vehicle rather than getting where you want to go. Not a good philosophy! You'll look great broke down by the side of the road in this vehicle. I'd rather see you spend your hard earned money on a vehicle with less mileage, that you won't be fixing every time you turn around! I've been down that road before, car payments AND repair bills! It's no fun!! Hope you make the right decision and keep shopping! Jim

Yes, like others said, you will need a lot of extra cash for repairs. At 140K, you are looking at replacing the suspension components if you haven't already and or course other issues, like the starter, cooling system, AC components. Find a vehicle under 100K if you are looking to drive a car long term.
