High Mileage

Asked by GuruHCLH9 Jul 17, 2019 at 10:18 AM about the 2005 INFINITI QX56 4WD

Question type: General

Looking at a 2005 Infinity QX56 with 190,000 miles, only 2 owners, the 2nd person put $2-3,000 into it. Seller said the Drive train is new, starter new, tires new, brakes are fairly new, selling for $7,000, blue book is $7,900 even with the high miles. KBB says this is a great vehicle. It looks brand new.  Any thoughts? I am desperate for a vehicle, my van is dead, but I don't want to get ripped off either. Help

You can't install a new drive train for 2 to 3 thousand. Ask to see receipts! Consider how much you drive each year. This car would not last me more than a year or two at best due to the amount of miles I drive.
