Hey just wondering if I can get some info on this car I am about to purchase one fairly soon but my parents are giving me lectures on how its already a 5 year old car with 78,000 km's on it and how the problems are going to start now??????plz helpppp im so stressed I just need to make sure im not buying a lemon because its a private sale and the car is used from the states which means 44,000 miles roughly 78,000kms....HELP....lol....

great cars.milage is about right in fact for 05 kinda low,i say go for it they are relibable cars,just keep the mantaince up,you should get 200.000 miles before any major problems.
I agree with Papa. The only issue that I have heard of is the A/C, the "dry heat exchanger" is a pricy unit (about $1200 (here in Canada) and is a pain in the butt. Other than that if you decide on the car, give it a good look over (take it to a mech') and if it is all good, enjoy the ride.
If it's any help tell ur parents I still rely on my 1993 Tempo gl with 160,000miles and it has yet to let me down. Look at cars oil that's a good look at how its been cared for if the jerk didn't just change it to throw you off. I look at the rest of the car if all is kept up good It should last if you do not drive it in the ground and do maintenance on a regular basis

Tell you parent that it seems alot but go do so Me reserch when I bought my infinity g35 it had 80,000 on it and the dealer want alittle over 18,000 told him to he's nuts but once I did some resuch about infinity and they r in good shape i bet u go over 200,000 before u have to put some work into mine has been the best car I ever owned hands down and u and your parents will see that when u get it just be careful it easy to get moving in these cars
i have a g35 bought at 70,000 has 205,000 miles no problems runs great still
