intermittant passenger seat motor movement. It only goes back so far but then stays way to far up. Is this a seat motor problem or an electrical problem. Please help!

THANK YOU> BUt i guess I didnt give enough detail..forgive me. Seat doesnt move with use of the buttons. It only moves when the seat is being bent forward for back seat access, and then only moves back a few inches before stopping. ODD I guess it still could be track dirt.... will be checking today. I'll post outcome
