My friend has a 2019 model that he bought brand new. It now has just over 50,000 miles on it. He's had one problem with it. The purge valve for the EVAP system needed to be replaced a few months ago. It's been a very good vehicle for him so far. Jim

We have had 4 Ford Escape Hybrids (2007 & 2010's, and a 2011). They have been excellent. We've had no problems with the Hybrid functions and the rest of the vehicle has good very good. Tires last a long time, good mileage and very comfortable cars for us. We are buying them all used and will be unhappy when we have to upgrade to the newer style. We find the navigation GPS to be as about as good as they can get. Sadly we cannot upgrade the maps any more, however. But the system display methodology is unbeatable.
