Check the fuse under hood and dash first. Check to see if there is power to switch and leaving the switch to wiper motor. If no power to wiper motor, since under the hood run a jumper from battery to motor + to + and ground to ground either frame or - battery terminal. If motor powers up then search back the wire/relay to switch if power was to switch and leaving it may have a short between them in a wire or at relay or if power to switch and not leaving it then the switch is bad, if no power to switch and fuse is good and has power at fuse then there is a short between the fuse block and switch. If there was power to wiper motor and it does not run, still test with the jumper wires to confirm and if it does not run replace wiper motor, or the relay if it wiper motor works fine and there is power to everything else. This sound confusing possibly but hope you can figure it out. the relay will most likely be under the hood and in the main fuse block.
