1999 Infiniti I39

I recently changed the alternater in my
vehicle and every time I crank it the battery
is dead. I changed the battery as well and I
got the same results. Do you know what
the problem could be

It wouldn't hurt to test your new alternator. Sometimes they are bad right out of the box. Bummer, but it happens. With the engine running you should have between 13.5 and 14.5 Volts at the battery.

We are assuming the serpentine belt was installed properly with the correct routing and tension when you changed the alternator.
