chevy 1500 silverado 4x4 5.7 vortec

ok , ignition went out on key but lights and everything else works fuel pump ext.
installed push button with the key and started , now it is just clicking it has new
battery grounds are good i took to local oriellys to test starter the said it was
good , reinstalled and still wont start what could be the problem?

Sounds like a massive voltage drop, could be the battery, battery cables or still the starter, they don't test everything that can happen to a starter.
