what's wrong with ith my 96 k1500 4x4

my Chevrolet runs great in park and
neutral,when I put it in drive it runs very bad,
I checked the fuel pressure,changed the
plugs and wires,throttle position sensor and
idle control sensor.and put a different mass
airflow sensor on it a new fuel filter  gas
treatment,and the distributor looks new and
looks fine inside. it ran ok for a few days
then it started dying on me  every 30
minutes, and it's getting 10 mpg or
less.whats going on??!!

No it is not in the transmission. What was the fuel pressure reading? And did you do a fuel pressure bleed down at the same time? What is common on these is the spider injection starts to leak.
