I replaced the starter on my 1995
Chevy 5.7. now when I turn it to start
nothing. Gauges don't move but radio
works. If I have the key in run position
and jump the starter it still won't state.
Is this the ignition switch? Ground wire
problem? I'm lost I just bought this
dang thing .

Check that all the wires are in their proper mounting points. And check if all of the ground wires are connect properly to the truck//motor
Are you sure you connected all the wires correctly to the starter? If the wires are not properly connected to the solenoid, it will not crank when the key is turned. Re-check all your connections and also make sure the shifter is in Park or Neutral.
Everything is alright, replace the starter bought a new battery the battery was bad the wires are hooked up to wire on the solenoid is right no + 12 to the little wire
