Code. 42 for 94 chevy truck c1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed master cylinder and slave cylinder now
truck is throwing off code 42 which told me
solution would be fix transmission shift
pattern.how do you do that.

Did you bleed the lines really well. Having one little air bulb will mess with performance.

I tried to but it was just me doing it .just moved to town don't know a lot of people any suggestions on how to bleed them by myself

Find something you can use to create suction. Like a brake bleeder. Not sure the tech name for it.
