Sounds like you have grounding, socket or other wiring issues. I would start with grounding checks, socket checks looking for tiny burn marks especially where the ground wire enters the sockets, then if you haven't found it run power test on all related circuits, making sure there are no cross connections, melted wiring etc.

If the sockets are like the ones in my 94 1500 GMC the sockets are old and crusty and may have to be replaced , Don't go cheap , I couldn't figure out how the one bulb was grounded but it worked
Did you put LEDs in there? If so, remove them and put the standard, incandescent, bulbs back in. Also, did you put the correct number bulbs back in and are they in the socket correctly? The little tabs on the tail/brake light bulbs are offset for a reason. The bottom of the bulb has two dimples on it. One is for the dimmer taillight filament and the other is for the brighter brake light filament. Same is true for up front. One filament for the parking light and the other filament for the turn signal light. The metal body of the bulb is ground. I've seen people jam the correct bulb into the socket the wrong way and have the kinds of problems you're describing. LEDs are not designed for older vehicles and if you're going to use them other upgrades must be done as well. Such as replacing the turn signal flasher and hazard flasher for example. Jim
