Are you planning to change out the hole rear ends? The 1990 is sorter in length that the 2000. Axles are shorter by 1.77" so the hole rear end compared to the 2000 rear end is 3.54" shorter, (narrower).

Just change each end out with newer I have bent 2 newer rearends with camber issues 2003 silverado 4x4 brakes seem to work the best single piston and 16 wheels.
