1990 battend drains overnight

Starts with a jump  and will keep staring on its own after it is ran.battery is
new.after 5 or 6 hrs.after it ran crankin power is less and less

sounds like you have a draw on that circuit.

Have the charging circuit tested, most auto parts stores will do this for free. This will confirm if you have a good alternator. If you still have a problem then look for a parasitic drain.
