little black cap on driverside rear transmission, next to Speedo gear sensor

I recently bottomed out and had my Transmission fluid gush out from hitting
so hard. from what I see it looks like the gasket took a good beating. But I
cant for the life of me figure what that little black cover looking thing is called.
i need to replace it before i can even begin to do a proper transmssion flush.
Im a mechanic by hobby so dont know the names of alot parts. need yalls
help please, shes my baby and my only work truck.

Not much to go on. I would not do a flush, just a filter and fluid change but I wonder if you damaged the transmission when you bottomed out. Post a photo of the thingy.
