Fuel tank rollover valve

Asked by Emmittscar Jun 28, 2017 at 10:54 PM about the 1985 Dodge Daytona 2 Dr Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am looking for the rollover valve that sits on top of the fuel tank?
Nobody seems to know where I can get one and I called junkyards
All over Delaware Pennsylvania and maryland.
I have a brand new tank and fuel pump but can't hook it all up
Without this valve? Is there another tank from a lebaron or laser or some
Aftermarket tank I could use. I need this car bad to be runnin and the junk
yards won't pay enough to sell it to them. Any help someone could give
would be greatly appreciated my email address is klwtexas@gmail.com

Some part sites claim you can use rollover valve part #4495069 others do not. I have the same issue Ken. I plan to order this part and try to find a grommet to fit it in the tank with and cross my fingers. The 3.0L Lebaron(and several others) of the same year has the same vacuum diagram so I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping the same valve will work in the Daytona.
