should it roll back after coming to a stop on an incline?

My f-pace auto rolls back a long way after coming to a stop on a fairly sharp incline, if I don't apply brakes.
I've never had this with other makes with auto transmission. Is it a fault?

I don't see a problem except I hope I never stop behind you on a hill. Use the brake!
Sort of missing the point. If there's an underlying problem I'd like to get it resolved under Warranty. I've had conflicting comments from 2 Jag. mechanics, so thought I'd like an independent opinion.
I pretty sure your vehicle has the Hill Start assist function. Open your owners manual and look under the brakes section and then Hill Start Assist. It is part of the DCS system.
