How come my car lost almost $2,000 of value in just two months. This means in 5 more months it will worth 0, ZERO ? What is "value" based on ?

Value is simply a comparison to other similar cars. Ask what you want but shoppers will compare your car and price to others for sale which is what the CG's algorithm does.
