Anyone had a whining in 2017 toyota highlander ?

Took it in & it’s something with the transmission.
Wouldn’t let me drive it. Said could immediately
shut down if it went completely out. Spunds like
there should b a recall. Anyone else had this
problem? They need to b letting people know about
this!!!

They had to install a brand new transmission! Only had 12,000 miles on it! My first Toyota & probably my last! Very disappointed!! Paid way more $$ for this car & sure isn’t worth it! Been researching & it’s happening a lot!
