I took out and replaced my alternator, I got everything to fit but the belt is still loose. What do I do in order to make the serpentine belt have tension

Insert the screw into the belt tensioner, and use the alignment pin on the back of the tensioner to ensure proper placement. Without proper engagement of the alignment pin, the pulley will move, which doesn't meet our need at all! Turn the pulley until you feel the pin stop on the engine block. -Turn the tensioner counter-clockwise to tighten
So basically your saying the belt tensioner isn't in place or it just moved out

forget the videos and even that other one and read the one above^^^ the pulley is hard-bolted to tensioner assembly. Not spring loaded, must be tightened with wench
