How many miles can I expect to get on my timing belt. I have a 2001 Rodeo, V6 with 168,000 miles on it and the timing belt has not been replaced. Should I replace it now? Not have any issues with it

It would be smart to and they usually do the water pump at the same time. If you have a trust worthy local mechanic that you use I would go talk to him and have him pull the cover on the timing belt to see what the condition looks like. Also Looks like ContiTech has one with the water pump for $198.00 and thats the same one I put in my VW Touareg pretty reputable company.
