Sle1 is your bare bones piece of shit. No power windows. No power steering. No radio. And I believe they use the same wheels as a wheelbarrow. Sle2 is a little nicer with goose down headrests.

Nothing is different but heated seats and sun roof. I have a 2015 GMC Terrain SLE1 and it is loaded with lots of extras.

There are many options that can be added to either. The SLE2 adds a more premium Pioneer system with 8 speakers, leather wrapped steering wheel, roof racks, full power driver seat, and I believe the Intellink system w/Bluetooth (unless that's an option in either). and possibly the collision alert/lane departure warning (maybe also option) . If getting new there are lots of optional equipment; if buying used pay careful attention to what it's equipped with because the salesmen will rush you thru everything and mislead you which is how I got screwed over into buying something and getting home and realizing the system my SLE 1 is equipped with will not do anything Bluetooth but phone calls. NO Pandora for me, no CD player, no navigation. We have a loaded GMC Sierra that does it all so I am upset that my daily driver wont do any of those things
